Anthony Smith and Michael Bisping have a laugh about Andrew Tate's 'Top G' nickname
Controversial internet celebrity and former kickboxing champion Andrew Tate was recently arrested by Romanian authorities on suspicion of being involved in human trafficking, rape, and organized crime.
In a recent segment of his podcast, Believe You Me, Michael Bisping and UFC light heavyweight contender Anthony Smith had a little fun at the expense of the controversial social media celebrity.
The duo poked fun at the former kickboxer's nickname 'Top G'. Anthony Smith told 'The Count' that he was unaware of Tate's alias until the social media star was arrested:
"Not until he was in jail."
The former middleweight champion also chimed in, saying that he doesn't know much about Tate outside of a few 'do***ey' videos where he shows off his lavish lifestyle.

At this point, 'Lionheart' added that although he doesn't agree with many things Tate says, he can get behind some remarks:
"[I] will probably catch a little bit hate for saying this but I do find myself when it comes to his view on men not being pu****s and you know, got to [kind of] man up... and that kind of vein of things he speaks about. It's kind of similar to some Jordan Peterson type of stuff. Like, I find myself agreeing with that kind of stuff. Now when he starts getting down that rabbit hole and some other s**t you have seen him say... like Jesus Christ man, you are such a d****e bag."

When Anthony Smith opposed Andrew Tate's claim that jiu-jitsu is "useless" in a street fight
Last year, in an appearance on the Fresh & Fit podcast, former kickboxing champion Andrew Tate claimed that Brazilian jiu-jitsu is completely useless in street fights, in which opponents are more likely to scratch, bite, or even use knives.
The comment didn't sit right with former UFC light heavyweight title challenger Anthony Smith. During an episode of the Believe You Me podcast, 'Lionheart' called out Tate, saying:
"If Andrew Tate wants to have a competition. You be able to bite, you be able to scratch and you can even have a knife. And if it's just me and you and were in a room and all I can use is jiu-jitsu and all you can do is kickbox, I'm leaving that room with whatever was in your pockets 100%."

However, Smith agreed that jiu-jitsu in and of itself won't help too much if one is confronted by multiple assailants in a street fight.
