"Anything is possible" - Triple champ Anatoly Malykhin hopes to be an inspiration for the youth to chase their dreams
Anatoly Malykhin draws inspiration from knowing that he is in a position that could make a difference.
The three-weight world champion has worked extremely hard to get where he is but he's keen to emphasize that he's not superhuman.
He's an incredible athlete but what he has accomplished wouldn't have been possible if he wasn't dedicated to making a better life for himself and his loved ones.
Through the success that he has achieved, the undefeated Russian hopes that he can inspire the next generation to also shoot for the stars.
He doesn't want his fans to worship him but he does hope that he can be a beacon of what is possible and therefore be a positive role model for others to follow.
Malykhin spoke about this during a recent Instagram post:
"My main goal is to convey the message that anything is possible. I'm just an ordinary guy with two arms and two legs, and I face fears and doubts just like everyone else. But I want to show kids that sports, a healthy lifestyle, and a good upbringing matter. It's about providing them with a positive direction in life, not about idolizing me, but about guiding them towards making the right choices."
Anatoly Malykhin is continuing to break new ground
Anatoly Malykhin is able to gain motivation from knowing that others will be inspired by what he has accomplished.
With that in mind, his main focus is always on keeping this run going so that he can reach even more people.
His next fight sees him continue to break new ground when he headlines ONE Championship's first event in Atlanta.
With his ONE heavyweight world championship on the line, he will face off with 'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane in a battle of hulking behemoths.
Malykhin has no intentions of stopping his win streak anytime soon and November 8 is no different.
