Are Logan and Jake Paul twins?
Jake Paul and Logan Paul have taken the combat sports world by storm since transitioning to boxing. The popular influencer siblings have amassed a large following and fans are often curious to know more about them. The similarities in their personalities and an obvious resemblance in appearance has led many fans to wonder if they're twins.
Are Logan and Jake Paul twins?
Although Logan and Jake Paul might have similar physical attributes, the brothers are not twins. Logan was born on April 1, 1995, and is the elder sibling of the two. His brother Jake was born almost two years later on Jan. 17, 1997.
Both brothers rose to fame around the same time through the social media app 'Vine'. Later, they transitioned to YouTube and have constantly featured in each other's virtual offerings.
Hence, it is quite clear why some people might confuse the brothers as twins. Apart from YouTube fame, Jake and Logan Paul have also been at the center of several controversies. As 'The Problem Child' once famously said:
"The Paul family is sort of notorious. Everyone wants to see the big bad wolves fall."
Logan and Jake Paul's boxing careers
Jake Paul also followed in his brother's footsteps when Logan Paul decided to make a shift to boxing. Logan Paul faced fellow YouTuber KSI in a white-collar boxing match in August 2018.
Jake also took on KSI's younger sibling Deji as the co-headliner of the same card. While the amateur clash between the two was declared a draw, Logan Paul lost to KSI in a professional boxing match a year later.
Logan Paul has since competed against Floyd Mayweather and Dillon Danis in boxing. While Mayweather handily defeated the less experienced Paul when they clashed, Danis was thoroughly outclassed and lost the fight via disqualification a few seconds before the final bell. 'Maverick' has also made a successful foray into pro wrestling.
Meanwhile, younger brother Jake has achieved remarkable success in boxing for someone who has trained for a relatively short amount of time. He is 10-1 as a pro and holds wins over notable MMA fighters like Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz. However, the 27-year-old has been criticized for fighting older MMA fighters that are well past their prime. Tommy Fury handed 'The Problem Child' the first loss of his career in February 2023.
He has secured four straight wins since the defeat. He will take on boxing legend Mike Tyson on Nov. 15. Paul has claimed that his career goal is to go beyond commercial success and make progress in the competitive sphere of the sport. As a result, his decision to take on an opponent 31 years older than him has been heavily criticized.
