Beterbiev, renowned for his fierce fighting style and perfect knockout record, faces Bivol, a masterful tactician. Besides the championship laurels at stake, there are substantial financial stakes involved in this highly anticipated showdown.
Bivol's financial history reveals that he has earned significant purses in his recent bouts. He reportedly earned $5 million for his unanimous decision victory over Canelo Alvarez in May 2022.
Additionally, in his last fight against Malik Zinad, Bivol was set to earn a substantial amount of $750,000 based on contract agreements. Earlier, he pocketed $1.9 million from his fight against Lyndon Arthur on Dec. 23, 2023.

His previous fight against Callum Smith set a financial precedent, as Top Rank secured the rights with a winning bid of $2,115,000. Of this amount, Beterbiev received $1,332,450, which constituted a share of 70% of the 90% winning bid. Smith, ranked number three by The Ring in the light heavyweight category, earned $571,050, or 30% of the winning bid.
According to a report by Boxing Kingdom, both fighters will reportedly make around $10 million each. These initial figures were highlighted by Bob Arum, the CEO of Top Rank. It's important to note that the estimated payouts may exclude potential earnings from sponsorships, gate revenue, or pay-per-view sales associated with the event.
