Stamp suffered a torn meniscus in her left knee on a routine sparring session while she was in training camp preparing for her world title defense against close friend and former training partner Denice Zamboanga.

The Thai megastar was supposed to defend her gold at ONE 167 this June at Impact Arena in Bangkok.

Instead of headlining the Bangkok card, Stamp went under the knife to repair her injured knee. Since then, se has steadily made remarkable progress in her physical therapy sessions.

Stamp Fairtex hopes to return to action in the first quarter of 2025

Knee injuries are often the bane of any athlete, especially those competing in combat sports.

Stamp Fairtex has been in physical therapy for several months now, and she told Nick Atkin that she hopes to return to action in early 2025.

The former ONE atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion wished that doctors would give her the green light to compete in either March or April of next year.

"Hopefully, next year around March or something like that. Maybe April."
