Atomweight Muay Thai tiff between Supergirl and Teodora Kirilova headed to ONE Fight Night 34
Another guaranteed banger between Anna 'Supergirl' Jaroonsak and Teodora Kirilova has been added to ONE Fight Night 34.
Their atomweight Muay Thai tilt, which will be contested for three rounds inside Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium live in U.S. primetime on Friday, Aug. 1, pits two interesting styles up against one another on the global stage.
'Supergirl's' technical yet high-octane style has helped her build a solid fanbase throughout her campaign in ONE Championship. The 21-year-old superstar has looked like a competitor well beyond her years, and she's ready to produce another magical moment to return to the winner's column.
The Jaroonsak Muaythai affiliate debuted with a 60-second knockout of Milagros Lopez in her promotional debut at ONE: A New Breed II, and quickly followed up with another courageous display against Ekaterina Vandaryeva at ONE: Heavy Hitters in January 2022.
Sadly, she's gone 1-2 since. That said, 'Supergirl' did give Stamp a run for her money in their kickboxing tilt—and her split decision loss speaks volumes for her ability to hang with someone of the Fairtex Training Center affiliate's caliber.
In her last outing, her hopes of making it back-to-back wins following a unanimous decision win over Lara Fernandez hit another blow. The Thai went down to Cristina Morales in the very first round of their atomweight kickboxing tiff at ONE Fight Night 16.
Motivated to return to the winner's column and to establish herself as one of the most talented atomweight strikers, the PBA Thailand Champion, who began honing her craft at the tender age of three, should fire on all cylinders in her hotly anticipated return at ONE Fight Night 34.
She will be tested to the fullest, though, with a talent like Kirilova standing across from her on the global stage.

Teodora Kirilova isn't just any ordinary talent. The Bulgarian scrapper earned her way into the biggest stage of martial arts after dominating the European kickboxing circuit alongside an unblemished professional record.
The 34-year-old's hype train was, however, derailed when she went down in shocking fashion to Israeli standout Shir Cohen in her promotional bow at ONE Fight Night 20 in March last year.
Fueled by revenge and an eagerness to close in on her world title aspirations in the promotion, the Muay Thai and kickboxing veteran is expected to bring her A-game to overcome 'Supergirl's' explosive and technical style.
Kirilova's go-to weapon has always been her show-stopping power. And if the Thai striker leaves herself exposed when she's chaining combinations, fans can sure as hell expect the Bulgarian fighter to go in for the kill on Aug. 1.
