"Attack his weaknesses" - Danny Kingad certain there'll be 'a lot of holes' in Adriano Moraes' style at ONE 169
Danny Kingad is looking to secure what would be one of the biggest wins of his career to date when he returns to action under the ONE Championship banner.
'The King' is a veteran of the promotion's flyweight division and has already faced the toughest tests imaginable.
With his former foe, the great Demetrious Johnson, retiring and vacating the title at ONE 168 last month, the top contenders in the division are out to make a statement.
Kingad can do that by earning revenge over a former foe of his who also has a long relationship with the flyweight gold, Adriano Moraes.
Moraes and Kingad first crossed paths seven years ago where in November of 2017, the Brazilian secured a first-round finish via submission. Having faced him once before, the Filipino contender is confident that he will have the answers when they meet again at Lumpinee Stadium on Nov. 8.
Danny Kingad told Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview that he's working hard on crafting a strategy that will see him emerge victorious:
"We've watched and studied his previous fights and we did see a lot of holes in his game that we'd like to exploit. We'll leave it at that, but we're preparing a solid game plan to attack his weaknesses."
Danny Kingad can capitalize on this moment in a big way
Danny Kingad finds himself in a great position to capitalize on the current state of the flyweight division.
With Johnson retired, many would assume that his great rival and the last man to face him in MMA, Adriano Moraes, would be a next contender for the title.
Kingad can look to steal this momentum at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, by earning revenge over the Brazilian and catapulting himself into the title conversation.
A win here could truly change his fortunes for good and that's why he's coming into this fight with every detail already accounted for.
