Banger alert: Superbon locked in for Muay Thai war against Jo Nattawut at ONE Friday Fights 81
Another epic Muay Thai matchup, which pits Superbon and 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut, is locked in for the organization's tentpole edition of ONE Friday Fights 81 on September 27.
Per the official announcement on onefc.com yesterday, their three-round featherweight fixture will headline the Lumpinee Stadium spectacle that closes out the third quarter of 2024.
Superbon and Nattawut have graced the global stage with some of the most thrilling battles over the past few years across the Muay Thai and kickboxing spheres.
As such, there shouldn't be any question marks on the level of entertainment that one can expect when these two striking specialists duke out inside the 'Mecca of Muay Thai' in Bangkok, Thailand.
Fresh off his second win over Marat Grigorian, which helped him secure the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world title, Superbon is eager to steer himself into the winner's column in 'The Art of Eight Limbs'.
In his last outing in the discipline, the Superbon Training Camp head honcho went down to Tawanchai PK Saenchai via majority decision in their clash for gold.
Having used that match as a blueprint to detect his shortcomings and flaws, the top-ranked featherweight Muay Thai contender is ready to showcase his improvements against Jo Nattawut with a rematch against the divisional king being the end goal.
Whether or not that comes to fruition is far from certain, however, as his dance partner at ONE Friday Fights 81 always packs world-class characteristics that have made him an absolute must-watch.
Jo Nattawut's tenure under the promotional spotlight has seen him featured against the likes of Giorgio Petrosyan, Samy Sana, and Tawanchai.
In victory or defeat, the Atlanta-based warrior is always ready to let fireworks fly, and that very penchant for putting on a show should turn this contest against Superbon into another nail-biting affair for as long as it lasts.
