"Battle of the generations" - Fans skeptical of Johan Ghazali's surprising call-out of Bosnian menace Denis Puric
Since calling out veteran contender Denis Puric during his post-fight interview following his first-round knockout win over Josue Cruz at ONE 168: Denver inside the Ball Arena in Colorado, Johan Ghazali has made headlines in the combat sports community.
This escalated quickly when Puric responded to him through an Instagram video, which is why ONE Championship teased the possible match between the two in a recent Instagram video that they captioned:
"Who wants the fight? 👀 @johanghazali_ @bosnian_menace"
The thought of this matchup between 'Jojo' and 'The Bosnian Menace' quickly hyped up the fans, who chimed in on the topic.
But users @iamstevenchia, @sapaoski87, @tanner.decosta, @nmalevris, and @austine_3.16 are in favor of Puric and think that Ghazali is challenging him too early in his professional as they commented:

Denis Puric made it clear that he only wants to fight the best fighters in the world and put on a show for fans
In the video response he posted on Instagram, Puric reiterated that he won't be the gatekeeper of a particular weight class or sport.
Instead, he wants to fight the best fighters, much like what he did in his previous bout with Rodtang Jitmuangon, where they put up an incredible match.
