Battle-tested veteran Denis Puric says he only wants to fight 'the best of the best': "That's what I'm here for"
Denis Puric is looking to make the most of the position that he finds himself in right now.
The experienced competitor has spent a long time campaigning to finally reach the top of the sport and that's where he finds himself in ONE Championship.
During his time with the promotion, 'The Bosnian Menace' has been very outspoken about wanting to take on the biggest names and challenges that are possibly out there.
He got his wish last time out at ONE 167 where Puric and Rodtang Jitmuangnon put on a fight of the year contender in the co-main event.
Having recently been called out by Johan Ghazali following his win at ONE 168, the 39-year-old competitor responded via a video on social media.
He made it clear that though he would take this fight if it's what the fans want to see, he's still setting his sights on the top guys right now:
"But in the meantime, let's work on these fights, man. I'm ready to fight the best of the best of the best of the best and put on a spectacle. You know what I'm saying? That's what I'm here for. Watch it freaks. Get out of it."

Denis Puric proved himself at ONE 167
A major motivation for Denis Puric in his pursuit of Rodtang was that he wanted to prove himself by taking on one of the best in the world.
He didn't get his hand raised that night at the Impact Arena in Bangkok but Puric did show why he deserves to be in these kinds of fights.
His heart and toughness were on display in an instant classic which, if anything, only made him an even more popular fighter as a result.
We will find out soon enough what and who awaits Puric next time out.
