Belal Muhammad breaks down online feud with "moron" Sean Strickland over his comments on Israel-Palestine conflict: "I hate his guts"
Belal Muhammad has publicly expressed his disdain for Sean Strickland, following the latter’s controversial remarks about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The feud, rooted in Muhammad’s Palestinian heritage and Strickland’s inflammatory comments, escalated into a heated online clash.
Appearing on the Fight Back Podcast, Muhammad recounted his frustration with Strickland's dismissive attitude. Strickland allegedly responded to Muhammad's social media post about the conflict by stating, 'Palestine should just bend a knee.' Muhammad criticized Strickland for being insensitive and seeking attention.
Speaking to Jake Shields, 'Remember the Name' said:
"I hate his guts. They were getting bombed and I posted about it, and he just wanted to put his 2 cents in, 'Palestine should just bend a knee'. And I was like who the hell is this guy. And to say something like that, insensitive. Because he’s a moron, right. Like he’s doing that for attention. He’s doing it to show people that ‘I say crazy things.'"
Muhammad also dismissed any sympathy for Strickland, who has mentioned his difficult upbringing in the past, arguing that it doesn't excuse his behavior:
"That’s what i learnt about him [that] he’s just an idiot and says dumb things, he doesn’t understand. So for him to say… ‘Palenstine bend a knee’ and put that out on social me shows how much of a moron he is. And people could give their excuses, ‘oh [Strickland] had a rough childhood’ but [that] doesn’t give you the excuse to say something like that.”

Belal Muhammad responds to Conor McGregor and Joe Rogan's comments on security incident at UFC 310
Belal Muhammad recently addressed Conor McGregor and Joe Rogan's playful comments regarding a security mix-up at UFC 310. The welterweight champion, who was attending the event as a spectator, found himself blocked by security when he attempted to enter the cage following Shavkat Rakhmonov’s victory.
Rakhmonov had called for Muhammad to come into the octagon for a faceoff, but security didn’t recognize him as the titleholder, leading to a humorous moment.
Joe Rogan, commenting on the situation, joked that the security team didn’t know Muhammad was the champion, prompting laughter from the crowd. McGregor also shared his reaction on X, mocking the incident and joking about security's confusion.
In a post-event interview, Muhammad responded to the banter, clarifying the misunderstanding:
"Yeah, I don’t know, they thought I was gonna do, they thought I was pulling a Merab, like hopping over and going crazy or something like that... No, he called me, bro! If someone calls me into the cage I’m gonna go in there, right? I don’t think [the security] heard it, they didn’t realise what was going on they thought I was going in to attack him, I’m just like, bro, chill."
