Belal Muhammad calls back-and-forth with Shavkat Rakhmonov, a "war of words" between himself and ChatGPT
Belal Muhammad and Shavkat Rakhmonov have continued their war of words via X with the former volleying another barb toward the unbeaten contender via Instagram. The to-and-fro has been on display for the last few weeks since the former cemented himself as the new titleholder in the division at UFC 304.
Things started innocently enough, per a timeline curated by MMA Fighting on Instagram, with Rakhmonov congratulating the newly minted titleholder on his victory.
The hungry contender then disputed the idea Muhammad would follow through on being an active champion with 'Remember the Name' responding to the notion, saying he would not defend his crown this year. He further mentioned that Rakhmonov has not fought this calendar year.
Within the comment section of the referenced Instagram post, Muhammad posted a bit of a malapropism by stating:
"It's the war of words between me and Chat gbd."

Belal Muhammad and Shavkat Rakhmonov's recent social media trash talk continued
Belal Muhammad and Shavkat Rakhmonov fired off even more shots than the ones that were outlined above. Rakhmonov went on to refute the champion's idea that he should fight the former champion and number two-ranked contender Kamaru Usman to determine the next challenger for Muhammad's belt.
The surging 170-pounder also clapped back at Muhammad's inactivity comment by pointing out how the champ had been out of action for over a year before his title bid in July. Muhammad then posited that someone was tweeting on behalf of Rakhmonov with the would-be challenger firing back by boasting about his impressive 18-0 professional record in the sport.
Rakhmonov posted to X about how the belt has seemingly made Muhammad delusional and that 'Remember the Name' was someone the contender described as a decision machine with zero knockdowns and less than a full handful of finishes in the UFC.
Muhammad got off the last word by stating that Tony Ferguson was more worthy of a title shot than Rakhmonov at this point. The road to gold has been a long one for Muhammad as many in the MMA world sit around wondering who he will make his first championship defense against and when it will transpire.
