Belal Muhammad highlights Khabib Nurmagomedov's past shot at Conor McGregor amid sexual assault case court hearing
Conor McGregor has not competed in mixed martial arts in over three years after breaking his leg at UFC 264 in July 2021. 'The Notorious' has managed to remain at the forefront of the combat sports world despite his inactivity. He once again has found himself in the headlines, but for all the wrong reasons, as his sexual assault civil trial began on Tuesday.
Belal Muhammad, who has exchanged words with McGregor on several occasions in the past, invoked an old tweet from Khabib Nurmagomedov to mock the former double champ. He shared a 2019 tweet from the UFC Hall of Famer, which read:
"Rapist, you are Rapist. You are a hypocrite who is not responsible for your actions. Justice will find you. We will see. @TheNotoriousMMA"

Nurmagomedov's tweet came about a week after the sexual allegations initially surfaced. With the case officially underway more than five years later, Muhammad saw it as an opportunity to mock McGregor.

The pair clashed at UFC 229, with Nurmagomedov winning via fourth-round submission before a post-fight brawl ensued. Conor McGregor and Belal Muhammad have found themselves exchanging words multiple times. The latest such incident came when the latter pulled out of his scheduled first title defense, which was set to take place against Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 310 next month.
After the welterweight champion labeled 'The Notorious' a junkie, McGregor responded:
"Scutter talk just like your fighting. You lambasted ufc world champions multiple times on having to reschedule their bouts thru injury and now it has come down on you like a bomb from the sky, it is glorious to see! No fight. No money. But staph infection hahahaja LOL! BUM! Stripped! Instantly. Zero Knockdowns/any excitement or traffic or views or ticket sales in bout, and now also non reliable to show? Strip. Cut. Infected fighter. You have infections. 🤮"
