Belal Muhammad reacts to Dana White naming the most-viewed belt wrap video of a fighter in UFC history
Newly crowned UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad has more than one reason to be elated. Not only has he won the belt after racking up nine wins in a row, the video of his belt-wrapping ceremony is the most viewed video of a belt being wrapped ever at 22 million at the time of writing.
UFC CEO Dana White said:
“To put it into perspective, the belt wrap for Tom Aspinall did 8.2 million views. Belal’s belt wrap did 22 million views! ...so for people to think that people don't care about Belal Muhammad, this right here proves that's not true.''

Having become the most-viewed fighter to have the belt wrapped around his waist, Muhammad took to the comments sections of the ESPN MMA post:
"If you don't know now you know"
Muhammad won the 170-pound strap after going undefeated for five years in the division, seemingly unnoticed, as he continued to build his case for the title by accumulating a nine-fight winning streak along the way.

“It sounds like all of the people booing have got a lot of tears coming out of their eyes. I’ve got my family in here. God first, always. This fight is for my family, my people and for Palestine."
