Belal Muhammad roasts Kamaru Usman after being trolled for security incident at UFC 310: "Isn’t that the guy I made cry on his own podcast"

At UFC 310 last weekend, reigning UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad stepped inside the octagon to congratulate Shavkat Rakhmonov for his narrow win over Ian Garry. A bit of confusion happened before Muhammad entered the cage as the security that night didn't seem to know that he was a UFC champion and didn't allow him to enter. Even Joe Rogan called the incident out on the mic.

This little tidbit of knowledge became an angle for Belal Muhammad's rival, former divisional champ Kamaru Usman, to criticize the champion again.

In his podcast with Henry Cejudo, 'The Nigerian Nightmare' made fun of the fact that Muhammad's fame didn't reach the UFC's own security team:

"What are we doing when the security of the UFC don't know you are the champion? [laughs] Oh my god...I remember, when I saw too, I was like, 'Yo, Joe Rogan had to vouch for you to come through security'. Did you hear what Joe Rogan said? 'Oh, he's the champ, let him in.' And that's what I found [to be] really, really funny."

Not to be out-trolled yet again, Belal Muhammad promptly replied to the post, saying:

"Isn’t that the guy I made cry on his own podcast"

When Kamaru Usman revealed Belal Muhammad was once a podcast guest - but they never aired the episode

It seems the "crying" incident Belal Muhammad was talking about was his famed guest appearance in Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo's podcast, Pound 4 Pound.

Back in October, Usman revealed that they had 'Remember the Name' over in their studio, but the interview didn't go so well. This was unsurprising as Usman and Muhammad had been having an online beef/rivalry for months, and things got a bit heated.

Usman said:

"The last time we were in Vegas, of course we had a lot of different guests, like we have this time. A lot of interesting guests on. And out of respect, we wanted to have Belal [Muhammad] on the podcast to show our respect...He was a new champion, so to show our respect, come on the podcast. And he did come on the podcast."

He continued:

"In typical Belal fashion, of course Belal did Belal. The interview didn't go as planned. It wasn't that great of an interview anyways. It wasn't that long. But it went the way that it went. And that [winning a UFC title] was the biggest moment of his life because that's all that he seems to want to talk about...But if he's able to get through Shavkat Rakhmanov and we run super super low on content, why not [drop the interview]."

It's still unclear whether or not Usman and Cejudo would drop the podcast episode. Still, there's more and more interest in seeing what really happened in the interview.
