Bibiano Fernandes says Demetrious Johnson didn’t think he was going to knock out Adriano Moraes
Former ONE bantamweight world champion Bibiano Fernandes had an honest discussion with 'Mighty Mouse' Demetrious Johnson after the American earned the flyweight crown by knocking out Adriano Moraes.
Earlier this year, 'Mighty Mouse' avenged his knockout loss to 'Mikinho' with his very own flying knee KO. After the fight, Demetrious Johnson spoke with Fernandes and admitted that he was surprised to win the fight by way of knockout. While speaking to The MMA Superfan, Fernandes recalled:
"Me and DJ talked a little bit. He said, ‘You know Bibi, all I trained for in this fight was grappling.’ I said, ‘What the f**k? How did you knock him out?’ He said, ‘I don’t know! I was focused on grappling. I didn’t think I was going to knock him out, because it was so hard the last time.’"

Bibiano Fernandes and his fight at ONE on Prime Video 4
After his world title loss to 'Hands of Stone' John Lineker, Bibiano Fernandes will be looking to earn a victory on November 18. The Brazilian will face 'The Sniper' Stephen Loman at ONE on Prime Video 4.
The Filipino-born Loman is a dangerous fighter. However, Fernandes is happy to compete anywhere the fight takes place. In the aforementioned interview, 'The Flash' explained:
“I don’t like to predict fights, because a fight is a fight, right? I want only to show up and give it my best. I want to give him my best in this fight. I want to feel good, healthy, and strong. That’s it. The fight comes, whatever he wants to do.”
Rodtang will be in a Muay Thai war against ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion Joseph Lasiri on the same card.
