Bobby Lashley says "yes" to MMA return eight years following WWE exit, in talks for boxing matchup
WWE star Bobby Lashley has hinted at a potential return to combat sports, revealing he's open to boxing or MMA opportunities. The 48-year-old athlete recently shared that he is considering a comeback to mixed martial arts (MMA).
Lashley's decision comes after his potential departure from WWE, where he has enjoyed a successful run since 2018. Appearing in The Bo and Them Show, Lesley said:
“I’m doing it all. I look at it this way — first of all, YOLO, you only live once but I have a lot of gas in the tank. I’m in great shape. I feel good. I’m motivated. I’m rested... Wrestling, yes. Boxing, yes, MMA, yes. Acting, yes. Everything, yes. But I have a lot of different things going on right now.”
Speaking further, the WWE star also revealed that he is in talks for a potential boxing matchup:
"A boxing company called me and offered me a legit matchup... So we’re in talks with them, so I’ve been training boxing. I love boxing. MMA is a possibility. Just depending on [what offers come].” [H/t: MMA Fighting]
