Bokang Masunyane wants to show he can "finish fights" starting with Mansur Malachiev at ONE Fight Night 25
Second-ranked ONE Championship strawweight MMA contender 'Little Giant' Bokang Masunyane of South Africa is heading into his next fight with something to prove.
The 10-1 fighter is looking to score his third straight victory in the world's largest martial arts organization. More importantly, he wants to prove he can finish guys at the highest level.
His most recent victories over Hiroba Minowa and Keito Yamakita have both come by decision and 'Little Giant' wants an electrifying finish next.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Masunyane shared his thoughts on perhaps taking more risks as a fighter to entertain the fans.
'Little Giant' said:
"I haven’t really changed much of my game plan because I know it’s good, but I do want to start finishing fights. I know I can take my opponents to the deep end, so why not risk it and go to finish the fight?"
Masunyane joined ONE Championship in Dec. 2019, debuting with a win over Japan's Ryuto Sawada. He has since gone 4-1 in the promotion, with his only loss coming to ONE interim strawweight MMA world champion 'The Monkey God' Jarred Brooks himself.
Now, 'Little Giant' is looking to score another emphatic victory to position himself for another crack at the world title in ONE Championship.
