“Bombs getting dropped” - Andy Howson has Liam Harrison throwing pure power ahead of Seksan super fight in Denver
Andy Howson is making sure his old friend Liam Harrison will be as powerful as ever heading into Denver.
Harrison is deep into his training camp in preparation for fellow legend Seksan in a catchweight (140 pounds) Muay Thai super fight at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 at Ball Arena.
The now-retired Howson is a five-time Muay Thai world champion and is now one of the head trainers at Bad Company Gym in Leeds, England. With his fighting days long over, Howson now serves as Harrison's cornerman, and the longtime friends are already deep in their bag in preparation for Seksan.
Howson took to Instagram to share the progress of Harrison's training, and the eight-time Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion looks as menacing as ever.
Liam Harrison threw pure power during his pad workout with the 81-win veteran, and Howson promised that 'Hitman' would be dropping bombs once he's face-to-face with Seksan.
Howson wrote:
"Bombs 💣 getting dropped @liambadco. Five weeks out and more than ready to bring absolute destruction to Denver @onechampionship."
Harrison and Seksan are two of the hardest-hitting strikers of their generation and arguably the best proponents of Muay Thai's fast-paced 2000s era.
Seksan has 201 wins under his belt and world titles under Rajadamnern Stadium, Omnoi Stadium, and WBC Muay Thai.
'The Man Who Yields To No One' is also 8-1 in ONE Championship.
Harrison, meanwhile, is long considered Great Britain's best Muay Thai fighter and has 90 career wins to his name.
Liam Harrison expects a "crazy fight" against Seksan in Denver
He once called themselves the "old men of Muay Thai," but Liam Harrison is confident he and Seksan have more than enough gas left in the tank to put on a classic barnburner in Denver.
In an interview with Yokkao, Harrison said he and Seksan will give the U.S. crowd more than their money's worth and put on an absolute show stealer at ONE 168.
"I think we’ll be able to produce something really special for the crowd because I think it’ll just be a crazy fight."
Tickets for ONE 168 are available at Ticketmaster.
