"'Bones' should be getting a $50M guarantee" - Jake Paul gives honest take on Jon Jones's UFC payday demands for Tom Aspinall fight
Jon Jones returned to the octagon last month, defending his heavyweight title for the first time at UFC 309 by defeating Stipe Miocic via third-round TKO. Despite hinting at retirement going into the matchup, 'Bones' revealed that he will probably continue his mixed martial arts career.
Jake Paul weighed in on reports of how much it will take to get the heavyweight champion to face Tom Aspinall. The younger Paul brother claimed on X Jones should be guaranteed $50 million plus a percentage of the pay-per-view sales. He wrote:
"Did my math. Understand their hope to have Jon Jones lose so they can create the next man. So… Bones should be getting a $50M guarantee for that fight. And $10 for every PPV buy above 600K. If they offer that to Jon, it’s fair. He should take it"

Dana White believes Jon Jones will '100%' face Tom Aspinall in 2025
The UFC held its last event of 2024 last night as the promotion will not return to action until after the New Year. Following UFC on ESPN 63, CEO Dana White guaranteed Jon Jones would face Tom Aspinall in 2025. While speaking at his post-fight press conference, the promotional frontman stated:
"It's probably the biggest fight in heavyweight history and it's a massive fight in the history of the company, too... Usually those guys say that s**t behind the scenes and not publicly. Jon says that s**t publicly but not behind the scenes. Jon is a very unique individual to deal with. From day one, I've been confident that Jon Jones will do that fight... Jon Jones isn't afraid to fight anybody... I'll say 100% [the two fight in 2025]."
