"Both of them are going to do equally well" - Jarred Brooks certain Kade Ruotolo and Mikey Musumeci will dazzle in Denver

ONE interim strawweight MMA world champion Jarred Brooks can't wait to witness two of the most lethal grappling wizards, Mikey Musumeci and Kade Ruotolo, collide at ONE 168: Denver.

That evening on September 6, Musumeci – who owns the ONE flyweight submission grappling world championship – moves up three weight brackets to challenge Ruotolo for his lightweight crown in a battle that serves as the co-main event of the Ball Arena fight card.

With a chance to put their respective world-class jiu-jitsu game to good use on top of an opportunity to claim arguably the biggest wins of their respective careers, Jarred Brooks sees the pair going all out to put on a grappling clinic for combat sports enthusiasts.

Addressing this world champion vs. world champion fight in the Mile High City, the 31-year-old told Sportskeeda MMA:

"This is a huge matchup for any jiu-jitsu practitioner. I don’t have a prediction, but I know both of them are going to do equally well."

Ruotolo and Musumeci have stayed perfect throughout their ONE Championship campaign. Kade Ruotolo racked up a 6-0 run in his division before bagging a first-round submission win in his pro-MMA debut against Blake Cooper at ONE 167 this past June.

On the flip side, 'Darth Rigatoni' moved to 7-0 in the organization after his emphatic finish of Gabriel Sousa. The Evolve MMA athlete also has victories over Shinya Aoki, Brooks, Osamah Almarwai, Cleber Sousa, Gantumur Bayanduuren, and Masakazu Imanari.
