“Both legends swinging at one another” - Johan Ghazali dissects Liam Harrison-Seksan war at ONE 168: Denver
Johan Ghazali expects the anticipated battle between Liam Harrison and Seksan to deliver the fireworks—for however long it lasts.
After more than two years on the shelf, Harrison will make his long-awaited return to the Circle on Friday, September 6, as ONE Championship heads back to the United States for a massive ONE 168: Denver card in The Mile High City.
In addition to two epic world title scraps, fans will also be treated to a can't-miss Muay Thai clash as Harrison meets the 201-win veteran in a bout that has banger written all over it.
Ghazali—who will also compete in The Centennial State next month—shared his thoughts on the upcoming encounter between and how he sees things playing out between two of the sport's greatest strikers.
"I think there's no need to predict how this one goes," Ghazali told ONE Championship during a recent interview. "It's just going to be both legends swinging at one another. Fast-paced action and a lot of back and forth."
Johan Ghazali confident he'll come out on top against the debuting Nico Cornejo at ONE 168: Denver
In addition to Harrison vs. Seksan, fans inside Ball Arena and those watching around the world will also witness the return of 17-year-old sensation Johan Ghazali.
'Jojo' will look to bounce back after coming up short for the first time inside the Circle, suffering a unanimous decision loss against Vietnamese standout Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat at ONE 167 in Bangkok.
Though the loss was an undeniable setback, Ghazali is confident that he can use it as a learning experience to improve even further. He told the Borneo Post Online:
"In my previous six fights, I had five wins [four TKOs] and one defeat. I am pretty confident in my next fight as I have been training very hard for the past few months, and I am ready for it."
Standing in Ghazali's way of a return to the win column will be Mexican slugger Josue Cruz.
