"Boxing could end up offering me millions" - Paddy Pimblett looks at his options following UFC 304 with his contract ending
Paddy Pimblett has revealed he's got his eye on a potential switch to boxing, following the culmination of his UFC contract later this month.
Pimblett is set to face Bobby Green on July 27 in Manchester, England at UFC 304. 'The Baddy' will also get his first crack at the lightweight rankings, as 'King' currently sits at No.15 in the division.
Some news that broke earlier this week, however, has revealed it may also be Pimblett's final fight in the promotion. The Liverpudlian, who is 5-0 in his UFC career so far, currently only has one fight left on his contract and he has yet to sign a new one.
Paddy Pimblett then discussed the situation during a recent interview with Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie. 'The Baddy' revealed that whilst there have yet to be any talks over a new deal, he expects to continue in the promotion as he has no desire to fight in the octagon for anybody else. He said:
"Oh no. I haven't got a clue [If the UFC have offered him a new deal]. It goes without saying, I wouldn't want to go to another organization, lad. The UFC is the cream of the crop."
Pimblett did add, however, that you can never be certain about what the future holds and he could be tempted by a boxing contract, if he stood to earn millions. He added:
"You never know, though. Some of these stupid YouTubers who are boxing could end up offering me millions so fight one of them. So we'll see what happens."

Paddy Pimblett calls out Bobby Green ahead of UFC 304 clash
Paddy Pimblett has sounded off on Bobby Green, after 'King' secretly recorded him at UFC San Diego back in 2022.
The two lightweights are set to settle their beef later this month when they meet inside the octagon at UFC 304. Whilst some fans have assumed the rivalry between the pair started when the fight was announced, Pimblett has revealed it goes much deeper.
In a recent video on his YouTube channel, 'The Baddy' put Green on blast for recording him back then instead of coming up to him to speak. He said:
"Remember when I was in San Diego with my wife, and you were sitting two rows behind me? Videoing on Instagram live the back of my head, talking sh*t about me...Didn't have the balls to come over and say nothing to my face...Grapple with me then, lad. Back your word up. We both know that you can strike even though you've got no power...Grapple with me. Let's see if you've got the balls to grapple with me."
