Legendary boxing coach Teddy Atlas lashes out at Jake Paul's haters, credits 'The Problem Child' for his courage – "He had a risk of emotionally getting embarrassed"
Teddy Atlas is lashing out at Jake Paul’s critics after the YouTuber-turned-boxer’s latest win against former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
Atlas, who coached Mike Tyson en route to winning two junior Olympic gold medals, recently discussed the boxing match on his YouTube channel, THE FIGHT with Teddy Atlas, and praised Paul for his work ethic:
“He [Jake Paul] had a risk of getting embarrassed and getting hurt. Did he pick his opponents? Hey, do you want me to go down a laundry list of fighters that have done the same thing, starting with [Floyd] Mayweather? And I know that they fought better. But I’m just saying, they’re supposed to be hated on for being smart?"
Atlas also mentioned that ‘The Problem Child’ has been making improvements and is getting a lot more comfortable inside the ring:
“He [Paul] doesn’t have a great background or length of time in this business. But he’s dedicated himself in an honest way... And he has learned this sport... You haters out there, he’s getting better. He’s getting more comfortable inside that ring."
'The Problem Child' has been quite busy ever since his win against ‘The Spider'. Last night, he appeared at WWE Crown Jewel, where he came to his brother Logan’s aid. It was during Logan Paul's WWE universal championship match against Roman Reigns in the main event. 'The Problem Child' even got some offense in as he knocked down both Jey and Jimmy Uso with a right hand.

Who will Jake Paul fight next?
There is a lot of speculation on who Jake Paul will fight next. It was recently reported that his fight with Anderson Silva didn’t do well on pay-per-view. So, he might be looking for a firebrand opponent.
Based on the animosity and recent interactions, 'The Problem Child’s next opponent could be Nate Diaz. The former TUF winner is coming off a submission win against former interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson. The UFC 279 headliner was the final bout of his contract. Given Diaz's free agency and his massive popularity, Paul could pursue a bout with him.
Interestingly, Diaz got into a backstage altercation at the Paul-Silva event and slapped one of Paul's teammates. 'The Problem Child' has since called Diaz a "bit**". Their animosity appears to be real and it could very well materialize in a blockbuster bout.
