Boxing schedule for October 2024: Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol, Jack Catterall vs. Regis Prograis, and other confirmed fights

The boxing schedule for October 2024 begins with a Queensberry Promotions card later tonight. Streamed on ESPN+ at 2 PM E.T. / 11 AM P.T., it is headlined by the undefeated Nick Ball defending his WBA featherweight title against Ronny Dios.

It also features Henry Turner vs. Jack Rafferty for the British, Commonwealth super lightweight title and Andrew Cain vs. Lazaro Casseres for the WBC International Silver super bantamweight belt. James McGiven is also on the card, facing Facundo Arce at lightweight.

Other matchups include Jadier Herrera vs. Oliver Flores, also at lightweight, Brad Strand vs. Marvin Solano at super bantamweight, and other minor bouts. In another card set for tonight, River City Promotions and Triller come together to bring an event at 6 PM E.T. / 3 PM P.T.

The card consists of Glenn Dezurn vs. Juan Centeno at super bantamweight, Carmen Gulliksen vs. Anari Matthews at women's light middleweight, Juan Pablo Guillen Arancibia vs. Jonathan Redmond at super bantamweight, and Ameil Barbour vs. Roberto Cantos at light welterweight.

Lastly, there's Kevin Myer vs. Tristian Lackey at featherweight. Next weekend on Oct. 12, Top Rank, DAZN, and ESPN+ team up at 1 PM E.T. / 10 AM P.T. with Riyadh Season to host the highly anticipated undisputed light heavyweight title fight between Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol.

Besides the main event, there's also Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Kamil Szeremta at middleweight, Fabio Wardley defending his British heavyweight title against Frazer Clarke, Jai Opetaia defending his IBF cruiserweight title against Jack Massey, and Skye Nicolson defending her WBC featherweight title against Raven Chapman.

As far as the rest of the card, there's Ben Whittaker vs. Liam Cameron at light heavyweight and Mohammed Alakel vs. Jesus Gonzalez in an unspecified weight class. On Oct. 13, Teiken Promotions and ESPN+ features an event at 7 AM E.T. / 4 AM P.T.

It sees Takuma Inoue defending his WBA bantamweight title against Seiya Tutsumi, Seigo Yuri Akui defending his WBA flyweight belt against Thananchai Charunphak, Kenshiro Teraji vs. Cristofer Rosales for the WBC flyweight title, and Shokichi Iwata vs. Jairo Noriega for the WBO light flyweight belt.

In non-title action, there is Ryuga Sato vs. Asato Sato at bantamweight on the prelims.


Boxing in the second half of October

On Oct. 14, Teiken Promotions and ESPN+ make a quick turnaround at 8 AM E.T. / 5 AM P.T. with the great Junto Nakatani defending his WBC bantamweight title against Tasana Salapat while kickboxer extraordinaire Tenshin Nasukawa faces Gerwin Asilo for the WBO Asia Pacific bantamweight title.

Kosei Tanaka defends his WBO super flyweight title against Phumelele Cafu, Anthony Oscaluaga defends his WBO flyweight title against Jonathan Gonzalez, and Excel James Junior faces Ayato Kobayashi at light welterweight. On Oct. 19, Boxxer and NBC Sports host an event at 7 PM E.T. / 4 PM P.T.

Adam Azim vs. Ohara Davies at light welterweight, Jeamie Tshikeva vs. Franklin Ignatius at heavyweight, Michael McKinson vs. Tulani Mbenge for the IBO welterweight title, and Dan Azeez vs. Lewis Edmondson at light heavyweight make up the card.

On the same day, at 9 PM E.T. / 6 PM P.T., Premier Boxing Champions, TGB Promotions and Amazon Prime sees Bakhram Murtazaliev defend his IBF super welterweight title against Tim Tszyu in the only championship bout of the evening.

There's also Mateo Tapia vs. Endry Saavedra at middleweight, Yoenis Tellez vs. Johan Gonzalez at light middleweight, Jocksan Blanco vs. Angel Ilarraza at welterweight, and other minor bouts. The final major event for the month is on Oct. 26 from Matchroom Boxing and DAZN at 2 PM E.T. / 11 AM P.T.

It is headlined by Jack Catterall vs. Regis Prograis at light welterweight and features Reece Bellotti defending his British, Commonwealth super featherweight title against Michael Gomez Jr., and Uisma Lima defending his IBF Inter-Continental super welterweight title against Ishmael Davis.
