Brandon Moreno will fight Deiveson Figueiredo even if he misses weight at UFC 283 but on one condition
Brandon Moreno recently discussed his upcoming title fight against Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 283.
The event is scheduled to take place on January 21 at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The tetralogy bout between 'Deus da Guerra' and 'The Assassin Baby' will serve as the co-headliner bout of the card.
In a recent interview with former UFC two-division champion Daniel Cormier, UFC interim flyweight champion Brandon Moreno discussed his expectations for his upcoming title fight against reigning flyweight king Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC Brazil.
When asked if he would still be interested in facing the Brazilian even if he could not make weight, Moreno confidently responded that he would still take the fight as long as he is compensated for it.
Putting forth his response, Moreno said:
"Because that is the fight I preapred myself before right? if he made, I don't know... 127, 128[pounds] I don't care. Let's go to fight. Obviously [shows 'Pay Me' gesture] like I want that [laughs]. I want the narrow [money]. So yeah man when I finish this business I want to make my legacy bigger and let's see for the next step."

Michael Bisping breaks down Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Brandon Moreno
Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping recently shared his thoughts on the upcoming flyweight title fight between Figueiredo and Moreno. Bisping believes that Moreno, who is 29 years old, may have an age advantage over Figueiredo, who is 35.
In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Bisping provided his analysis of the upcoming fight and said:
"This fight ultimately though - for the fourth time - is going to come down to who has had the ability to extract more information about their opponent than the other one. And then, who has got the ability to make that information work for them. What is my opponent good at? What is he bad at? I think that man is going to be Brandon Moreno, I think he has a more analytical mind."
