BREAKING: Conor McGregor gives first statement since Michael Chandler fight announcement
Conor McGregor is set to return to action as Michael Chandler's rival coach on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter.
McGregor, who has been out of action for over a year and a half, nursing a broken leg, recently opened up on his upcoming booking for the first time. Probably referring to his leg injury, 'Notorious' claims to be throwing his head kicks faster than his jabs.
Exaggerations aside, any athlete throwing faster head kicks than jabs needs to sincerely worry about their jab speed. But anything is supposedly possible with Conor McGregor, who claims to be excited about his return. The former UFC double champ told Daily Mirror outside his Dublin pub, Black Forge Inn.:
"Looking forward to it. Looking forward to it. Feeling good, feeling energetic, feeling ready. You know, I'm throwing up my high kicks faster than I'm throwing up my jabs. So I'm pretty excited to get back, alright."

This will be Conor McGregor's second appearance as TUF coach, having appeared in Season 22 opposite Urijah Faber.
'Notorious' will then go on to fight Michael Chandler in a welterweight clash, a timeline for which is yet to be revealed. According to UFC president Dana White, The AT&T Stadium in Dallas and New York's MSG are two venues on tap to host the event.
