"Breaks her f***ing back" - UFC fighter defends Nina-Marie Daniele amid raging controversial beef with MMA Guru
MMA content creator Nina-Marie Daniele recently took a firm stand against The MMA Guru, igniting a heated feud. The drama unfolded after the YouTuber made derogatory comments about MMA journalist Amy Kaplan during her UFC 307 press conference appearance.
Daniele came to Kaplan's defense and her response has received support from notable figures such as Michael Bisping and Dillon Danis. Daniele, a beloved figure in the MMA content creation space, criticized MMA Guru for his alleged bullying and rebuked him for perpetuating a toxic culture within the community.
Most recently, UFC middleweight contender Chris Curtis came out in defense of Daniele on X, asserting that the 35-year-old is "genuinely a hardworking and kind person." He wrote:
"The woman genuinely works her a*s off. I have spent time with her outside of fight-related stuff, she is genuinely a hardworking and kind person. She works hard and that can't be disrespected. Every fighter appreciates her humor and personality. We like Nina."

On the other hand, MMA Guru didn't hold back in calling out what he perceives as hypocrisy on Daniele's part. He pointed out other MMA media members have faced their share of body shaming. Yet, he asserts that Daniele's reaction to criticism directed at others seemed selective.
He also referenced a past exchange between Jon Jones and Kaplan, highlighting the UFC heavyweight champion's insensitive remarks, including a jab at Kaplan's appearance. He questioned Daniele’s moral stance and provocatively asked if she would still be able to interview Jones at UFC 309, whom she has previously collaborated with.

Chris Curtis defends Nina-Marie Daniele in face of scrutiny by MMA fans
The MMA Guru's comments resonated with some fans, who questioned Chris Curtis' stance on Nina-Marie Daniele's alleged targeted outrage.
'The Action Man' emphasized that Daniele works tirelessly and deserves respect for her dedication. He also highlighted her positive relationships within the industry and expressed dismay at the harsh criticism directed at her.
He acknowledged that while fans are entitled to their opinions, the hostility toward Daniele seemingly crossed a line. Curtis took to X and wrote:
"Nobody is perfect in this sport at any level, but @ninamdrama breaks her f*cking back pursuing what she does. This woman is literally welcomed by every fighter I know with open arms because of her character. Most of the people talking sh*t couldn't get backstage with a pass."
He added:
"This is in response to the vitriol I have seen directed at Nina, which is way out of pocket. I understand people being upset but the things being said are not ok. Be upset all you want, but people are going way too far."
