Brendan Schaub responds to Nate Diaz's "big ol' pu**y" remark with grappling match offer: "I'll snap your neck"

There seems to be bad blood brewing between former UFC fighters Nate Diaz and Brendan Schaub. The pair recently traded shots online, with Schaub challenging the Stockton native to a grappling match.

Earlier today, Diaz took to X to give the former heavyweight contender a new moniker, writing:

"Brendan 'The big ol' pu**y' Schaub"

Suffice it to say, 'Big Brown' did not let the disrespect slide and clapped back at the former BMF title challenger, threatening to "snap" his neck in a grappling match:

"Oooh buddy. I probably got 20 pounds on you, so not too far off. I'll snap your neck. Set up a grappling match and let me know how it goes for you. Have one of your handlers read this tweet and get back to me."

Considering Schaub hasn't competed professionally in years and the weight discrepancy between the pair, a matchup between them is unlikely to take place.

Diaz mainly fought at lightweight and welterweight throughout his UFC career, and Schaub is a solid heavyweight, having competed around 230-240 pounds during his UFC stint. Currently far from fight shape, he likely weighs well over 250 pounds.

This, however, is not the first time the two men have engaged in a public spat. Backstage, following Conor McGregor's 2017 boxing match against Floyd Mayweather, Diaz and Schaub had an altercation after they disagreed on McGregor's performance in the fight.

During the exchange, the 39-year-old made fun of 'Big Brown's' MMA career while questioning his boxing knowledge.

Check out the pair's interaction below:

Brendan Schaub almost fought Nate Diaz at Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather

UFC alumni Brendan Schaub and Nate Diaz almost threw down after Conor McGregor's boxing match with Floyd Mayweather.

Schaub didn't take Diaz's criticism of his opinion that McGregor won numerous rounds against 'Money' lightly. The welterweight contender thought the Irishman only won the rounds that Mayweather was coasting.

Talking to fitness influencer Bradley Martyn, 'Big Brown' said that he'd have fought the MMA veteran if not for the threat of getting fired from Showtime:

"It was about to go down and then Steven Espinoza and my boss Bryan Dailey [the then Showtime VP] were like if you get in any altercation, you are fired. [I was like] alright man, and we just walked off."
