"It's such a weak f***ing narrative dude" – Brendan Schaub trashes Nate Diaz's comments about Anderson Silva being on Jake Paul's "payroll"

Following Jake Paul's boxing victory over UFC legend Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz accused 'The Problem Child' of match-fixing. Former UFC heavyweight and current mixed martial arts analyst Brendan Schaub called Diaz out for his reckless comments.

Speaking on his podcast Thiccc Boy, Schaub stated:

"For Nate Diaz, it's easy to jump on that train. He tweeted a video out assuming that Anderson Silva is on the payroll. It's such a weak f**king narrative dude... When you agree to fight Jake Paul and if he knocks your ass out, what are you gonna say? Are you on the payroll? You're setting yourself up to get a lot of f**king backlash."

Schaub continued to really drive his point home:

"What narrative are you gonna run on when you fight Jake Paul... I'd love to hear from anyone. Do you think that the Jake Paul that showed up and beat Anderson Silva that night wouldn't beat Nate Diaz?"

Jake Paul invites Nate Diaz to join him and Anderson Silva in United Fighters Association

Prior to Jake Paul's boxing match against Anderson Silva, the two made a friendly wager.

Jake Paul says he'll fight Anderson Silva in kickboxing if Silva wins... If Jake wins, the two will come together to form a United Fighters' Association to help UFC fighters get better pay and healthcare. Both sides agreed #PaulSilva https://t.co/o9ixPCQJ92

Following his victory over the retired mixed martial artist, Paul announced that they would be forming a United Fighters Association. He also took to Twitter to invite Diaz to join the association:

"Oh Nathan [Diaz], coming into my dressing room before my fight? Throwing drinks like a pussy. Will settle this if you ever get out of your UFC contract. Until then let’s change the game. I got big plans. I invite you to join Anderson & I to launch the United Fighters Association. In?"

While it is unclear whether Diaz will join the United Fighters Association, it is likely that the two will meet in the boxing ring. Despite repeated calls for the undefeated fighter to face a legitimate boxer, Paul's next opponent is likely to be MMA megastar and former UFC welterweight Nate Diaz.
