"Carry on the will of the great Conor McGregor" - Rising Rizin star calls out Dana White after Kai Asakura's UFC 310 loss

After Kai Asakura's UFC debut at UFC 310, another Rizin star by the name of Ren Hiramoto has expressed interest in joining hands with Dana White and his multi-billion dollar promotion. Hiramoto uploaded a post to his X account, which featured pictures of him with Irish superstar Conor McGregor.

In the caption, the 26-year-old hailed himself to be the one who would take forward the legacy of 'The Notorious'. He then compared himself to Asakura and claimed that he was capable of competing for 25 minutes inside the octagon:

"Hey Dana, I am the man who will carry on the will of the great Conor McGregor. I'm going to be UFC champion. Kai Asakura, for example, is a champion who can only fight 3 rounds. I am the first Rizin champion to fight 5 rounds. I am going to make the UFC great."

In his very first UFC bout on Dec. 7, Asakura fought Alexandre Pantoja for the flyweight belt. The night did not go well for the 31-year-old as he suffered a second-round defeat via rear-naked choke.

Dana White reacts to a question about the verdict of Conor McGregor's civil case

After the culmination of UFC 310, UFC CEO Dana White made an appearance at the post-fight presss conference. He was asked for his thoughts on Conor McGregor being held liable for assault in a civil case.

White did not weigh in on the situation and said if the Irishman was to make a return to the UFC, it would possibly happen in 2025:

"What do you mean, what's my reaction? If I had a comment, I would've put it out already... He hasn't been fighting here in, I don't know, how long. Well, if he does fight, it'll be sometime next year."
