Chael Sonnen appreciates John Fury's shirtless shadowboxing
Chael Sonnen has revealed that the viral altercation between Jake Paul and John Fury is one of his favorite moments of the year.
Tommy Fury, Tyson's half-brother, competed in an exhibition boxing match against Rolly Lambert in November. After the bout ended, Tommy’s father, John, entered the ring to celebrate his son’s performance. The happiness didn’t last long as ‘The Problem Child’ was sitting ringside trying to instigate a fight with ‘TNT'.
One thing led to another, and suddenly Fury’s 58-year-old father joined ‘TNT’ in a verbal exchange with Paul. John proceeded to take his shirt off and shadow-box while screaming at ‘The Problem Child'.
During a video on YouTube, Sonnen reflected on the altercation by saying:
“He didn’t believe his son could close the deal. So, he took his shirt off, and he shadow-boxed, and it was one of the great moments. It truly was one of the great moments from an entertainment standpoint of 2022."
Paul has continued to fire shots at the Fury family this year. ‘TNT’ and ‘The Problem Child’ were supposed to fight several times before the bouts fell through. It’ll be intriguing to see if these two boxers end up fighting in 2023.

Chael Sonnen reflects on 2022 in the UFC
The latest calendar year provided MMA fans with a handful of unforgettable UFC moments. From Leon Edwards to Alex Pereira, new superstars emerged while others disappeared.
During a video on YouTube, Chael Sonnen reflected on 2022 in the UFC by saying:
"An article came out today, and it was talking about how many times a championship changed hands in the UFC in 2022, and it was nine. It was the third most of all time if I'm recalling the article right... I've never seen a year like this, and I'm completely fascinated by it."
Sonnen concluded by saying:
"It was a very different way of doing things, and I got to tell you, as a viewer, it was refreshing. I loved '22. I loved the people that were given opportunities to fight for belts. I love that the champs came and put straps up as many times as they did."
There is no sport that is more unpredictable than MMA. Imagine explaining to someone that Edwards and Pereira would end 2022 as UFC champions.
Only time will tell how unpredictable 2023 will be for the UFC...
