Chael Sonnen believes Jake Paul certainly surprised Anderson Silva with one particular aspect of his game
Jake Paul is set to face Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia on February 26. This is the third attempt at pitting the two boxers against one another and they recently shared an in-ring face-off at the Artur Beterbiev vs. Anthony Yarde fight in London.
While 'TNT' and 'The Problem Child' are both undefeated in their pro boxing careers, Paul has certainly beaten a more well-known list of opponents, including MMA greats such as Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.
As such, Chael Sonnen is backing Paul to "surprise" Tommy Fury as he surprised Silva in October last year. In a recent video posted to his YouTube channel, 'The American Gangster' pointed out why Paul has the upper hand over Fury. Sonnen believes Paul's ability to deceive his opponents with his feints must have even taken 'The Spider' by surprise:
"Paul can crack. He can hit you hard... And he makes you guess. One thing that Paul hasn't gotten credit for yet is his feints. I would love to get Anderson Silva's take after fighting Paul, 'cause I think the one thing that Anderson would say that surprised him... Was Paul making him guess."

Tommy Fury gives his take on Jake Paul signing with an MMA promotion
Tommy Fury believes that Jake Paul venturing into MMA by signing a multi-year deal with the Professional Fighters League (PFL) is down to 'The Problem Child' knowing the outcome of their scheduled boxing match.
Jake Paul recently sent shockwaves across combat sports circles when he declared his intention to compete in MMA. The 26-year-old also owns equity in the PFL and will reportedly compete in the promotion's new Super Fight division.
In a recent interview with JOE, Tommy Fury was asked for his thoughts on Paul joining the PFL, to which he answered:
"It just shows who the professional is here, isn't it? He's doing all these signings, deals, MMA and all sorts of stuff, and I'm in the gym grinding... I'm not focusing on anything else other than beating Jake Paul... And I do believe he signed his MMA contract and he has teamed-up with the MMA stuff because he knows what's gonna happen to him on the 26th."
