Tito Ortiz challenges arch-rival Chael Sonnen to boxing showdown: "Put on a show so I can punch you in the face"
Chael Sonnen and Tito Ortiz have been rivals for many years.
The pair have traded verbal jabs at press conferences and online for the better part of a decade. Surprisingly, they have only fought once despite their differences. The fight took place in Bellator in 2017, with Ortiz winning via submission.
Now it seems that Chael Sonnen has been offered the opportunity to avenge his loss. Ortiz has offered 'The American Gangster' the chance to fight in a boxing match, via a tweet:
"@Chaelsonnen since you won't fight mma let's do boxing! Put on a show so I can punch you in the face."

Chael Sonnen and Tito Ortiz have traded blows over a number of topics, including personal ones like family.
Ortiz once offered 'The American Gangster' the opportunity to keep his promise to his late father. The promise being referred to is about Sonnen beating Ortiz in an MMA fight.
Meanwhile, Sonnen brought up Ortiz's ex-partner at a Bellator press conference, making reference to her previous career as a porn star.
It seems that the bad blood continues to brew between the two MMA veterans, and one wonders if they will ever settle their beef.
Chael Sonnen and Tito Ortiz trade words over alleged "contract" for their second fight, turns personal
It is no secret that Chael Sonnen and Tito Ortiz genuinely don't like each other. Sonnen is known for his brazen persona in front of the MMA media. 'The American Gangster' has often made outlandish remarks about his opponents prior to facing them, but seldom were the attacks truly personal.
Ortiz is one of the few MMA fighters that Sonnen seems to have real beef with. The pair recently went back and forth on Twitter over a supposed contract that was sent to Sonnen for a second MMA fight with Ortiz.
Ortiz began by tweeting:
"@Chaelsonnen has the contract! Come on bad girl let's get it done!"

Sonnen responded with his trademark wit:
"The hand-written note you slipped my coach begging me to fight you because you're broke is not a 'Contract'"

The pair then engaged in a war of words that lasted a couple of days.
