Chael Sonnen slams boxers for calling out Jake Paul after Mike Tyson fight: "All of a sudden found their b*lls"

Chael Sonnen recently sounded off on boxers for their decision to call out Jake Paul following his win over Mike Tyson. The former UFC middleweight title challenger noted that they are finally doing so because of YouTuber-turned-boxer defeating a legend from their own sport.

'The Problem Child' earned a unanimous decision win over the former heavyweight boxing champion in a bout that was heavily criticized both prior to and after. Many boxers, including reigning champions, issued a callout to Paul and expressed interest in fighting him next should he want to truly test his boxing skills.

In a video recently uploaded to his YouTube channel, 'The American Gangster' blasted boxers for calling out 'The Problem Child' because they had ignored him when he was pursuing high profile fights. Sonnen mentioned that he is skeptical about the boxers calling out Paul and noted that they are only doing it for publicity:

"I'm hearing a number of boxers today. Like, boxers had no b*lls for years and all of a sudden today they've all found their b*lls and they want to fight Jake Paul. Jake was looking for opponents...calling for opponents...And so, I believe Jake, I believe he wants. What I don't believe is these people that are calling him out. I question their sincerity. I question do you want it or are you willing to do it? There's a huge difference." [2:38]

Chael Sonnen doubles down on criticism of boxers calling out Jake Paul

Chael Sonnen doubled down on his criticism of boxers calling out Jake Paul as he added that they should be ineligible for a bout if they dismissed him in the past.

During the aforementioned video, Sonnen mentioned that Paul pursued fights against the likes of Canelo Alvarez but never came to fruition. He noted that the boxers had their opportunity to fight him and should provide more incentive than just a money grab:

"All these boxers that have all of a sudden found their b*lls should be ashamed of themselves. Nobody should be calling out [Paul] today that wasn't willing to fight him prior to record numbers coming in. There's nobody that should be willing to fight him today that dismissed him or turned down his call out for the last multiple years. But all of a sudden you found some courage and I don't know that you have." [4:38]
