Charles Oliveira addresses rumors about being part of viral reality show moment which has turned into memes

Former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira has denied rumors about him being on a popular reality TV show called Dance Moms. The rumor was spread by a Twitter handle @Cavaleiroincelo which showed a snippet from the show featuring a person resembling 'do Bronx.'

The snippet was then superimposed with footage of Charles Oliveira inside the octagon. Here's the tweet by Oliveira denying the rumors:

Esse tá mais completo. Mas não sou eu não mano

The caption to Charles Oliveira's tweet, translated from Portuguese, read as follows:

"This one is more complete. But it's not me, no bro."

What isn't a rumor, however, is the fact that Charles Oliveira is venturing into OnlyFans, which is a subscription-based content platform that charges subscribers a monthly fee to access content posted by its registered members.

The former lightweight champion will document excerpts of his life, training regimen, and moments with his family. Here's what the No.1-ranked lightweight said about the venture:

"Now it’s official, I’m part of the OnlyFans. But calm down, it’s not this content you’re imagining. There I will be posting exclusive stuff for subscribers. More about my routine, my workouts, my family, and even my leisure moments. If you haven’t registered yet, go ahead and register now.”

Will Charles Oliveira get back into title contention in 2023?

Charles Oliveira has not lost his spirits after losing the lightweight title and an 11-fight unbeaten streak to Islam Makhachev at UFC 280. The former lightweight champ was seen congratulating and embracing the current lightweight champ after the latter's win over Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 284.

'Do Bronx' recently announced that he was venturing into the OnlyFans social platform to give subscribers an exclusive look into his training and lifestyle. Oliveira has been posting updates on his Twitter and Instagram handles, and even had a memorabilia item made after him that is available on the UFC store.

The question remains; will Oliveira get back into title contention (and possibly face Islam Makhachev) this year?

It was recently announced that the UFC booked 'do Bronx' to face the No.3-ranked lightweight Beneil Dariush at UFC 288. Dariush confirmed that he received the bout agreement with MMA Junkie and said:

"They sent me a contract for Charles. And right now, we're just working on the details of the contract. And we'll go from there. I mean, I get to fight Charles Oliveira, one of the best to ever do it. Sounds good to me, I'm not complaining about it. But as far as who deserves to fight for the title, no one is even close to what I've done so far."
Beneil Dariush reveals he's received his bout agreement to face Charles Oliveira, and he's "not complaining about it."

It is highly likely that the winner of the aforementioned bout will get a title shot if all goes according to plan. Beneil Dariush provides some unique challenges, being a crisp striker and competent grappler. He's one of the most well-rounded fighters in the lightweight division, if not the UFC.

If Oliveira beats Dariush in dominant fashion or gets a finish, he will most likely fight for the title next.
