Charles Oliveira updates fans on UFC comeback: "The lightweight lion is going to hunt"
Former UFC lightweight king Charles Oliveira has provided his fans with an update regarding his fighting future.
'Do Bronx' recently uploaded a post to his Instagram acount which featured a picture of himself training in the gym. In the caption, the Brazilian shared that he is eager to enter the octagon again and is hoping to return to action soon.
Oliveira reuqested for his followers' support and stated that he's doing his part by training in the gym:
"Family, I'm dying to fight and I know you all want to see me fight. I'm hoping my fight will be coming soon and I'm counting on all of you to support me. I'm doing my part by training. Soon, the lion is going to hunt."

Oliveira was last seen in action at the historic UFC 300 event, which took place on April 13 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. That night, the former champion locked horns against Arman Tsarukyan in a lightweight showdown on the main card.
The fight was a highly competitive affair in which both fighters gave good accounts of themselves. In the end, the contest went to the judges' scorecards and Tsarukyan got his hand raised via split decision.
What is next for Charles Oliveira in the UFC?
MMA fans are eager to see the always-entertaining Charles Oliveira back in the UFC octagon again. Recently, rumors have been going around of a scrap between him and former featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.
Although no official announcement regarding that potential matchup has been made by the UFC, it appears exciting to several MMA enthusiasts.
An X account named @HappyPunch recently reported that Oliveira had welcomed the possibility of a fight against 'The Great':
"Why not? It would be a great honor. A great fighter, a great name. So, why not?... Waiting to see what the UFC will bring for us."
