Chris Rock lambasts Jake Paul in SNL monologue for Mike Tyson fight: "Is this what the white man has reduced himself to?"

Jake Paul continues to be a target for critics of his recent boxing match with Mike Tyson. The latest detractor to disapprove of the bout is world-renowned comedian Chris Rock, who took aim at 'The Problem Child' at a recent SNL taping. It was Rock's fourth time hosting the show, and his opening monologue was vitriolic.

He took several jabs at Paul, chastising him for fighting a borderline senior citizen in Tyson, who is 58 years old. Thereafter, he joked about who 'The Problem Child' may next face, naming potential foes who dwarf even Tyson in age, before embarking on a hate-fueled tirade.

"It's been a bad year for my people, the blacks. It's not been a good year. Kamala [Harris] and [P.] Diddy, Jake Paul beating Mike Tyson. What the hell? Who is this Jake Paul, this 27-year old punching a 60-year old man in the face? Is this what the white man has reduced himself to? Stop it! Well, who's he going to fight next? Morgan Freeman? I hate Jake Paul. I got landlord hate for him. I hate him! I hate him like cocaine hates monogamy."

Paul defeated Tyson in an underwhelming performance that saw him fail to score a knockout against a foe 31 years his senior. Tyson, meanwhile, looked every bit his age, with his legs lacking the spring they once had, ultimately leaving him unable to use his trademark peek-a-boo style to any effect.

However, 'The Problem Child' still avoided any pocket boxing engagements with the all-time great heavyweight, as he still posed some threat on the inside.

Dana White had similar criticisms for Jake Paul

Before the Mike Tyson bout, UFC CEO Dana White made an appearance on episode five of Pound 4 Pound with Kamaru & Henry, where he and UFC legends Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo tackeld the bout. Naturally, when it came to the fight, White had little to say to or about Paul that was good.

"If he beats Mike Tyson, he's going to fight Clint Eastwood next. Clint Eastwood's 93 years old."

White and Paul have a well-known feud that's seen both men throw unsubstantiated accusations at each other, with no indication of the enmity disappearing any time soon.
