Colby Covington reacts to "tremendous hypocrisy" of Kamala Harris replacing Joe Biden as Democratic nominee for 2024 elections
Colby Covington has just taken to X/Twitter with a clip to share his thoughts on Kamala Harris replacing Joe Biden as the Democratic Party's presidential nominee for the 2024 American presidential elections. Naturally, 'Chaos' had little in the way of positive words for either Harris or Biden.
First, he took to mocking the reason for Biden's withdrawal by referring to the latter's COVID-19 infection as the "common cold" before taking aim at Harris herself, who believes to be an unfit candidate.
"In the least surprising news in the last 24 hours, Joe Biden was KO'd by the common cold. Now the American people need to know who is replacing him in November? Looks like Big Mike [Michelle Obama] and Hill Dog [Hilary Clinton] are going to have to sit this one out. The Dems are passing the ball to Kamala. It's crazy, they just all of a sudden give her the nomination. I thought we were never going to hear from her again after Tulsi Gabbard bodied her at the 2020 primaries."
As he continued his tirade against Harris, Covington scrutinized her past as prosecutor while describing her in less than flattering terms.
"The last time they did polling, she only had 1% of the party behind her, and I'm not talking about the ex-mayor of San Francisco, big Willie Brown. I'm talking about the whole party, not just Willie. We all know he was there. She's getting the nomination without anybody actually voting for her, but hey, doesn't matter what the people want or if you do the right job. It just matters that you check all the right boxes. Tremendous hypocrisy from the party of democracy."

While Covington is focused on American politics, there is little news on his plans for his fighting future following a brief feud with Ian Garry that amounted to nothing, as he is yet to fight since losing to Leon Edwards for welterweight gold.
Colby Covington is an ardent supporter of Donald Trump
There is no doubt over Colby Covington's choice for United States president. He is a longtime and extremely vocal supporter of Donald Trump, having adopted much of the former president's rhetoric as part of a character used to promote his fights.
Trump has even turned up at Covington's fights, most recently sitting cage-side in the latter's unsuccessful attempt to dethrone Leon Edwards as welterweight champion.
