“Comeback win” - Watch Regian Eersel snatch victory from the jaws of defeat against Arian Sadikovic

ONE Championship fans are ready for a trilogy fight between two-sport king Regian Eersel and former ONE world titleholder Alexis Nicolas.

While looking back at Eersel's impressive come-from-behind victory over German-Bosnian standout Arian Sadikovic at ONE 156, the promotion is asking fight fans what they think should be next for Eersel after watching 'The Immortal' reclaim the kickboxing crown at ONE Fight Night 25.

Unsurprisingly, commentators on social media are clamoring for a trilogy fight between Eersel and Nicolas after the two world-class strikers split their first two meetings.

"Tough battle champ but you made it 🔥👊🏽"
"@onechampionship of course Trilogy @bvrboza_ to finally close the chapter 🔥🔥"
"This man a BEAST"
"Give us the trilogy!"
"Again it's 1-1"
"Who's next? The trilogy against @bvrboza_ of course"
"I don't even understand why you're asking the question, they are 1 - 1 with @bvrboza_ all the fans are waiting for the trilogy."

If you missed any of the action, ONE Championship fans in the United States and Canada can watch the ONE Fight Night 25 replay on demand via Amazon Prime Video.

Regian Eersel opens the door for a mixed-rules fight

If you're one of those who are desperate to see Eersel and Nicolas run it back for a third time, I'm afraid we've got some bad news.

Even before their critically acclaimed rematch, 'The Immortal' made it clear that a third meeting between the two wouldn't be a top priority. Not to say it won't happen at some point, but for now, Eersel has his sights set on something a little more exciting—like a mixed-rules fight.

"No, not an MMA fight," he said in a post-fight interview. "But I can do a mixed rules fight. Not MMA, it takes more preparation and it's not one of my goals."

He added:

"What's most exciting about a mixed rules fight is you can fight [in] almost all of the disciplines. And it's a challenge. I like challenges. I like this challenge, so we have to challenge ourselves, that's why we're here."
