Conor McGregor accuses Khabib Nurmagomedov of public violence and holding drug-testing agents "hostage" in latest social media rant

Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov never fail to reinvigorate their history of hostility whenever the situation calls for it. The Irishman pulled out receipts of his past statements while reacting to Nurmagomedov's Makhachkala-based MMA gym being raided by Russian forces.

In recent devastating events, several gunmen launched a coordinated attack on churches and synagogues across two cities in Dagestan. Law enforcement officers took out the assailants. One of the attackers was identified as Gadzhimurad Kagirov, an MMA fighter affiliated with Nurmagomedov's late father's gym, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov Martial Arts School.

'The Eagle' condemned the attacks and reprimanded the allegations, claiming that the terrorist was not their student and had only trained in the facility for a few months. Most recently, Russian forces surrounded and inspected the facility to investigate any connections to Kagirov.

McGregor took to X to react to the recent developments and launch a fresh attack on Nurmagomedov. He accused that the Dagestani, in the past, has held drug-testing agents hostages while also resorting to public violence. McGregor wrote:

"In the terrorist's gym when a tester showed up they would hold him hostage and give a random clean person's urine vs the fighters they were looking to test. All will come out now. When this comes down on top of them watch what surfaces. There is a video of Khabib walking into a premise full of people and smashing it up entirely with a bat, threatening all those inside. All will come out. Mystic Mac."

The raid involved around two dozen armed officers stationed at the entrance on Yusupov Street. Thorough checks were conducted in the gym with questioning as well as inspecting the phones of members to identify any communication with Kagirov.


Conor McGregor claims he should have postponed his fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229

UFC 303 was set to mark the return of Conor McGregor in the main event against Michael Chandler. However, McGregor was forced to withdraw `from the fight owing to a broken toe.

McGregor's camp has maintained that the Irishman fought Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 with a broken foot. The fierce rivalry culminated in a fourth-round submission win for Nurmagomedov.

While reacting to Nurmagomedov's gym in Dagestan getting raided as part of the investigation for the recent terrorist attacks in the region, McGregor recalled the October 2018 clash, writing:

"I fought this little bi*ch-made rat with a full broken foot. I should have postponed like I [have] done this time. For what did I give this little cousin f**ker any advantage for? He sh*t himself on that bus and showed his true chicken heart. Bit*h made spoilt brat. Now you are FU**ED! When you die I celebrate!"
