Conor McGregor addresses the Dee Devlin 'massage' moment captured by crowd cam at UFC 285

Conor McGregor was involved in one of the more peculiar moments of UFC 285 when his life partner, Dee Devlin, was captured rubbing the exposed chest of the Irishman.

Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal and McGregor were in Las Vegas this weekend to attend UFC 285 and, in Gyllenhaal's case, to film scenes for their upcoming movie, 'Road House'.

The UFC often displays celebrities in attendance at events on the jumbotron. 'The Notorious' appeared on the big screen alongside Gyllenhaal and Devlin, who began rubbing McGregor's chest in a comical moment. Conor McGregor has now taken to Twitter to address the UFC 285 footage:

"Massage thru silk"

Conor McGregor and Jake Gyllenhaal are co-starring in a remake of the 1989 cult classic 'Road House'. Gyllenhaal started off UFC 285 by filming a fight scene in the octagon that will be featured in the movie. UFC commentators Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik were in the booth for the scene, accompanied by Megan Olivi.

Conor McGregor is set to make his octagon return against Michael Chandler later this year. The pair were announced as coaches for season 31 of 'The Ultimate Fighter' (TUF), which began filming several weeks ago.

'The Notorious' suffered a broken leg against Dustin Poirier in his last bout at UFC 264 in July 2021. McGregor was removed from USADA's drug testing pool following the injury due to "exceptional circumstances" and is yet to re-enter the pool.

As per USADA policy, the Irishman will need to be eligible for testing for at least six months before he is cleared to compete. Given that McGregor will need to re-enter the pool, a fight date is yet to be confirmed by the UFC.

Dana White sheds light on Conor McGregor-Michael Chandler altercation on TUF

UFC president Dana White recently spoke about an altercation, or several altercations, that occurred last Friday on the set of TUF.

Conor McGregor is known to be a provocateur and one of the best trash-talkers MMA has ever seen. Many expected tempers to erupt between him and Michael Chandler during the season, but according to Dana White, the situation last week may have crossed the line.

White appeared in front of the media following UFC 285 and shed light on the incident between McGregor and Chandler:

"Chandler and Conor were very respectful to each other and then some things started escalating that you'll see on the show. They do not like each other now. A lot of sh*t went down on Friday... The stuff that just happened shouldn't have happened."
