Conor McGregor assaults woman on birthday in Ibiza: Reports claim Irishman allegedly kicked and punched the victim
Conor McGregor is at the center of yet another assault allegation that took place in July last year during his birthday celebration.
The Irishman was celebrating his birthday on July 14, 2022, at O Beach nightclub in Ibiza with his close friends and family, which was documented by various media sites. Not everything, however, was fun and games that weekend, according to a 42-year-old Irishwoman who is suing Conor McGregor.
According to the woman, she grew up in the same neighborhood as the former two-division UFC champion. McGregor recognized her while at the club and invited her over to the VIP area where his friends and family were. She claims 'The Notorious' then invited her to attend an afterparty on his yacht. As the party came to an end, the 42-year-old claims, the UFC fighter suddenly got violent.
She claims that Conor McGregor insulted her and then assaulted her by kicking her in the stomach and punching her on the chin (h/t Ultima Hora). The woman then claims the UFC fighter jumped on her and exclaimed he was going to drown her. Fearing for her life, she jumped off the yacht and was picked up by a Red Cross boat.
Conor McGregor stomped on a fan's hat on the same weekend in Ibiza
Conor McGregor was not on his best behavior during his birthday trip to Ibiza last year. In another incident recorded on camera, the UFC fighter was seen in the VIP section of the club when a fan threw his hat at him. 'The Notorious' was naturally not very impressed with the fan's actions and mocked him, before proceeding to stomp on his hat.
Take a look at the video:
This is not the first time the Irish fighter has been accused of assaulting someone or reacting aggressively at public events. Back in September 2021, McGregor was attending the MTV Music Video Awards and got into an altercation with Machine Gun Kelly. The UFC star then threw his drink at the American singer and tried to throw a punch at him before being separated by security.
A month later, an Italian DJ named Francesco Facchinetti claimed that Conor McGregor attacked him unprovoked and ended up breaking his nose. The Irishman has not been convicted in this case, so he remains innocent until proven guilty.
