Conor McGregor drops one-word reaction to Tyson Fury's vow to 'hurt' Oleksandr Usyk
Conor McGregor recently shared his reaction to Tyson Fury's pre-fight warning to Oleksandr Usyk, which saw 'The Gypsy King' promise to "hurt" his opponent.
This Saturday, Usyk and Fury are set to meet inside the ring once again as the pair head back to the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to fight for undisputed heavyweight gold.
The two previously went to war back in May, which saw the Ukrainian become the undisputed champ when he defeated Fury via split-decision. The loss was Fury's first as a professional and despite winning on one of the judges' scorecards, many felt as though it was a clear victory for Usyk.
Ahead of their clash this weekend, both Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have been taking part in media duties. While it was all fun and games for the Mancunian back in May, this time Fury has adopted a much more serious persona.
While speaking at the pre-fight press conference, the now-former champion promised to inflict a world of pain upon his opponent. He said:
"I'm gonna dish out a whole lot of pain. I'm gonna put this f*cker in the hurt locker for sure...I'm serious. I'm bringing the hurt."
Conor McGregor then shared the clip of Fury's comments on his Instagram story and captioned the post:
"Excellent!"

When Conor McGregor challenged Ilia Topuria to a bare-knuckle fight
Conor McGregor once revealed he'd be open to facing Ilia Topuria in a fight, but only if they adopted the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) rule set.
McGregor and Topuria have been trading blows on social media for a number of months, leading to speculation the pair were being touted for a bout inside the octagon. Despite the Irishman ruling out the chances of that happening, however, he did once admit he was keen to face-off against the Georgian-Spaniard under different rules.
Speaking on a Duelbits livestream earlier this year, 'The Notorious' took aim at 'El Matador' and said:
"I'll grab him by the scruff on the chest and slap that little nose off, yeah. Little ding dong of a thing he is. I'm f*****g Spanish. I'm in my bay bro yeah. I'm in my bay at the bare knuckle stall and let's see what's what... You little fool, I'll cave your head in... I'll box your jaw in. I'm in my bay of Spain on Oct.12 at the Bare Knuckle."
