Conor McGregor finally gives his take on Dana White's Power Slap League

Conor McGregor appears to be in favor of Dana White's new endeavor, 'Power Slap League'.

The Irishman uploaded multiple posts on Twitter, sharing his thoughts on the league. In one post, 'The Notorious' stated that the concept was growing on him.

This power slap championships is growing on me. Who doesn’t like watching good quality clatters hahaha

In another post, McGregor enquired about the rules and regulations of the league. 'Mystic Mac' added that he was fascinated by the idea and intended on attending one such event.

"Is it a flip of a coin who gets to go first? How long do they have to recover before they get to throw their counter? Or is it over if they’re ko’d? Fascinating. I’m attending one of these 100%. Is this Dana’s ? Wtf is this madness Dana hahaha. I’m in."

McGregor also suggested that he and his arch-nemesis Nate Diaz compete for the title of that league.

Me Vs Nate on it for the title hahahaha maybe that’s a title you’d have a better chance of coming close to winning Nate you little slapper hahahaha

Dana White has stepped into the sport of slap-fighting and will start his own new promotion called 'Power Slap League'.

The rules of slap-fighting are pretty straightforward. Two individuals take turns slapping each other until one of them gets knocked out.

There have been many health and safety concerns regarding slap-fighting, but White believes that his involvement will make the sport safer.

"I'm really into this, I like it. The other thing is, this stuff [slap-fights] is going on. I know that when we announced this there was a lot of concern about health and safety with some guys. Us getting involved guarentees that it's going to be much safer, it's gonna continue to go on. I like it, I'm into it."

Conor McGregor entertains the idea of competing at middleweight

I’m gonna give middleweight a go at some point 100%.

Irish superstar Conor McGregor has stated that he wishes to compete as a middleweight at some point in his MMA career. 'The Notorious' went on to say that he would fare well in the 185-pound division.

I’d be a big fridge at middleweight. But hot like oven same time, ye know yourself , catch it on ppv. Don’t know tho. It be hard work. Those rounds against those middle/lhw, they were alternating fresh each round. I’ve put in psycho work doing this job over the years.

Conor McGregor is one of two fighters (alongside Jared Cannonier) in the UFC to have competed and earned victories in three different weight divisions.

The Irishman has recorded wins at featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight in the UFC. So, keeping that along with his current physique in mind, the idea of competing at middleweight does not appear too far-fetched.
