Conor McGregor has four-word reaction to judge approving $375 million settlement agreement in UFC antitrust lawsuit
Along with being one of the UFC's top superstars, Conor McGregor frequently shares his unfiltered thoughts on numerous topics on social media. McGregor recently delivered a subtle dig in response to the judge's approval of a $375 million settlement agreement in the UFC antitrust lawsuit.
According to reports, the UFC and more than 1200 fighters have negotiated a historic $375 million settlement in a class-action lawsuit. The promotion was accused of engaging in unfair activities in the lawsuit, which involved years of legal battles. Several fighters asserted that they were unable to pursue better chances due to the exclusive nature of UFC contracts and market dominance.
Judge Richard Boulware previously rejected the $335 million original settlement in July, stating that it was too advantageous for the promotion. When Combat Sports regulatory attorney Erik Magraken announced the news on X, McGregor responded:

The UFC also issued a statement following Boulware's approval of the settlement between the promotion and its former athletes:
“Today’s decision is welcome news for both parties. We are pleased to be another step closer to bringing the Le case to a close.”
Former UFC fighter Tom Lawlor took to X and explained the details of this settlement and its implications for individual fighters. Lawlor estimated that about $260 million will be left over for fighter pay after deducting legal fees and other settlement expenses, saying:
''Historic day for the UFC, historic day for the fighters. After 10 years, it seems like it's over."

Dana White confirms Conor McGregor's return in 2025
Conor McGregor hasn't competed since breaking his leg at UFC 264 in July 2021. Upon recovery, McGregor was set to return in a welterweight clash against Michael Chandler at UFC 303, however, a toe injury forced him out of the bout.
During his recent appearance on the Outta Pocket podcast, UFC CEO Dana White discussed McGregor's highly anticipated octagon return, saying:
''Conor [McGregor] has gotten into a position where he's made so much money and he has all these businesses that continue to make him a lot of money - it's tough to get up and fight when you're in the position that he's in, but I do believe that Conor Mcgregor will fight in 2025."
