Conor McGregor gives Nate Diaz an uncharacteristic compliment, teases big plans for trilogy
Conor McGregor's response to Nate Diaz in their latest Twitter feud was somewhat uncharacteristic of the Dubliner. 'The Notorious' had some words of praise for Diaz in response to the Stockton native's dig at him.
Diaz recently took multiple digs at the Irishman, claiming to have knocked him out faster than Floyd Mayweather and submitted him faster than Khabib Nurmagomedov.
However, in response to the taunt about getting submitted by 'The Eagle', the Irishman praised Diaz's "shape and size," giving due credit to the Stockton native. McGregor also teased a trilogy fight against Diaz, promising to go full throttle from the opening bell. The former UFC double champ then posted multiple tweets:
Respect 💯
Big lanky bastard ya
"I telling you bro I been milling people your shape and size and bad. But gonna be a knock no doubt. I not sure I give a rats fully but I gonna go sprint until I can’t sprint no more in the 3rd fight I don’t care. Opening bell the absolute most power I have on me. Until we’ll see"
However, the Dubliner wasn't so civil in his reply to the Floyd Mayweather taunt, claiming to have carried 'Money'. McGregor wrote:
"I carried floyd. Not next time. Like in the pub. One shot. Nighty night I don’t give a rats, U too , 2"
Conor McGregor challenges Nate Diaz to Slap Fight championship match
Conor McGregor recently sprung into activity on Twitter, speaking on a variety of subjects, including a potential move up to middleweight. The Irishman also shared a positive response to the Power Slap League, newly formed by Dana White.
The Irishman expressed further interest in the nitty gritties of the controversial sport while claiming to be in on it.
'The Notorious' also went on to propose a clash with Nate Diaz for the Power Slap League championship. The Irishman also jokingly claimed that a Slap Fight belt would be Diaz's closest encounter with a title.
"Me Vs Nate on it for the title hahahaha maybe that’s a title you’d have a better chance of coming close to winning Nate you little slapper hahahaha"
Nate Diaz responded by claiming to have already beaten Conor McGregor at Slap Fighting.
