Conor McGregor goes ballistic at UFC 307 judges over "dirt decision" against Jose Aldo, Mario Bautista hits back: "Kiss my a**"

Jose Aldo succumbed to a split decision loss to Mario Bautista at UFC 307, suffice it to say Conor McGregor doesn't agree with how the referee officiated the fight or the judges' scorecards.

Aldo had a competitive fight against the Amercian. The Brazilian was coming into his stride, especially in the second and third rounds. However, Bautista expertly cliched up with the UFC legend, and shut off his offensive whenever his opponent started to hit his groove.

Interestingly, nothing came off the cliches other than disrupting Aldo's rhythm. McGregor for one doesn't agree with this tactic. Enraged by the referee not doing anything to stop excessive deadlock cliches, 'The Notorious' went on an all-out rant on X.

In one of his tweets, the Irishman wrote:

"Dirt decision."

In a subsequent tweet, the former UFC two-division champion suggested that the referees should put the fighters on a clock and separate them once they got into prolonged cliches. McGregor then proceeded to call out Bautista writing:

"Bull sh*t decision. He [Bautista] has just said he was shooting in just to hold him against the fence. That's not good enough. Referees need to step in here. This sport is the fans' sport. Remember this and act accordingly referees."

One could say McGregor built his career with his win over Aldo. The Irishman was first thrust into superstardom when he scored a 13-second KO over the then pound-for-pound No.1 'Junior' in their UFC 194, featherweight title fight.

The Dubliner defending his former foe hasn't however gone well down with Bautista. During the post-fight press conference, the bantamweight contender slammed the 'The Notorious' saying:

"Conor can kiss my a** and he can fight whenever he is supposed to. Take the fight against [Michael] Chandler. Shut up."
