Conor McGregor posts hilarious jingle in response to former friend Artem Lobov suing him for Proper No. 12 idea

Longtime teammate and friend of Conor McGregor, Artem Lobov, recently sued the Irishman over a dispute regarding Conor’s whiskey brand Proper No. Twelve.

Conor McGregor launched the whiskey brand Proper No. Twelve back in 2018. The UFC star aggressively promoted the brand, propelling it to million-dollar status in three years. Soon after its success, the 'Notorious' sold his stake, profiting by hundreds of millions of dollars. The profits made McGregor Forbes' highest-earning sportsperson last year.

In a recent turn of events, Conor's longtime friend Artem Lobov sued the UFC superstar for not providing him with his share of the profit in the whiskey company.

According to the Russian, it was his idea to start a whiskey business with McGregor, but the UFC veteran was kept on the sidelines after the business began making huge profits.

Conor McGregor's pub lost €1.136 million, according to reports

Among all of Conor McGregor's other business ventures, one of the most well-known is The Black Forge Inn, which he purchased in 2020. The 'Notorious' was said to have paid around €1.9 million for it.

However, according to recent Jemi Ventures Ltd reports, the company lost €1.578 million in the fiscal year ending last December, following losses of €441,649 in 2020.

The business has been hugely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, as told by a spokesperson for the Black Forge Inn:

"The Black Forge Inn, like countless others, was impacted by the pandemic shut down and reduced hours. We knew we would be operating at a loss, but we continued to serve the community and immediately ramped up once we were allowed to open. With our notoriously generous owner, Conor McGregor, sparing no cost in bringing all the excellence Ireland has to offer to our amazing pub."

Further, speaking of the potential expansion of the business, the representative said:

“The future is bright for the Black Forge Inn and the plans for the future are to expand our brand to be the most well-known iconic Irish pub in the world. An example of this was seen by our mega successful Black Forge Inn pop up in Abu Dhabi for the Formula One Grand Prix last weekend.”
