Conor McGregor promises major shakeup if elected Ireland's next president: "I am the only logical choice"
Irish superstar Conor McGregor has spoken about the possibility of venturing into the world of politics. The UFC star recently uploaded a post on X speaking about the changes he would bring to the country if he were elected Ireland's president by the public.
McGregor shared how he would handle the Dail Eireann, which is the lower house of the Irish parliament. 'The Notorious' added how he had the solutions to the problems being faced by Irish people and argued that he was the only correct choice for the position.
McGregor ended the post by hinting at being part of the upcoming Irish general elections in 2025:
"As President I hold the power to summon the Dail as well as dissolve it. So as I said before, I would have all the answers the people of Ireland seek from these thieves of the working man, these disruptors of the damily unit, these destructors of small businesses, and on and on and on! These charlatans in their positions of power would be summoned to answer to the people of Ireland and I would have it done by day end. Or I would be left with no choice but to dissolve the Dail entirely... This would be my power as President. I know very well. Ireland needs an active President employed wholly by the people of Ireland. It is me. I am the only logical choice. 2025 is upcoming..."

What's next for Conor McGregor in the UFC?
Conor McGregor has been out of action for over three years, having last competed at UFC 264 in July 2021. 'The Notorious' locked horns against Dustin Poirier that night in a trilogy encounter.
The bout ended on an unfortunate note as the irishman suffered a gruesome leg break and lost the fight by TKO.
After a long hiatus, McGregor was set to make his comeback at UFC 303 in July this year. He was matched up against Michael Chandler for his return.
But the former champ-champ had to withdraw from the fight due to an injury.
Now, many expect the fight to be rescheduled for either the end of 2024 or early 2025. However, no official announcement has been made by the UFC.
